More Japanese......Takashi Murakami

You may think im obsessed with Japanese culture, im honestly not, i know feck all about it(except that in their pornography women must have a 'full muff' of hair)

However i stumbled upon this image in a Taschen Art Now book. And its bloody brilliant!
Tis by a fellow named Takashi Murakami, he's kind of a big deal!



(artfagtalk) When deconstructing this image it is best to start with the striking juxtaposition of western and eastern cultures. Here Murakimi manages to marry the ideals of Japanese fantasy with the values of Western pornography. We see a mythical character named 'Cloud' from the computer game Final Fantasy 7. In the sculpture he is casting a spell using a form of sexual materia. He glorifies and celebrates this ability, as he stands proud and defiant, with a quaint smirk on his face, that dares you to cum closer. LoL (artfagtalk)
